I was in Chester Pa it just about 10 miles west of Philadelphia pa. Waiting for my load to get load it Kimberly-Clark. It 30 min wait area. After 30 min you have to drive around the corner in come back. Chester city police / highway patrolman / commercial vehicle enforcement. That what say on the business card that was giving to me.
Open the door jumps on side the truck ask for medicals card lic insurance and registration. I gave him everything.
Police told me that my Registration exp also the tag. I gave him the registration card in his hand. The only way to get the registration card is to pay your registration.
Police Tow my truck cost me $560.00 to get back. I received a citation/summons for $3457.50
The police say to get my truck back I need to show that my truck is Registrar. Be at the station by 3:00 pm that what time I get off. I was there at 2:45 pm he left for the day say desk officer said. I have to come back tomorrow. Seem like someone is stilling time from the city. I went to the vehicle release window. Told that office that my truck towed. Show him the letter the Pa fax to me. He did won’t to see the letter. Showed the same registration card that I showed the highway Patrolman early that day. Now I have to put up $3457.50 to go to court for something that not my fault. I lost money for that day in out of $560.00 for a tow bill. Look like I will need a civil lawyer to get the money for the tow in lost of income that day.
Have this happen to anyone?
