I was driving and hit a low bridge going about 25mph. The bridge was not posted with any sign in the direction I was heading, if you were coming in the other direction the bridge was posted. Also, the small road sign was turned away from the road, not readable to the on coming traffic. The police came and said to move the truck and there would be no ticket, he also stated that the bridge has been hit several times. I have pictures of the bridge (un-posted)and I received no ticket but was terminated from my job. Since then I have had a hard time to get employment with another trucking company because of this accident. If I did not get a ticket how can this be public information? If I was at fault how come I did not get a ticket? Can I do anything about this?
