What can I do about my last employer calling my next job and telling them about me without a release first? I worked at the new job for 11 years about 12 years ago about 1000 drivers and the ones still there who know me know about why I left the old job.
I dinged a trailer axle on a curb causing about 6K in damages and my boss tried to make me pay the $1000 deductible which he backed out of after I cleaned out my truck...I only worked a few days more after that due to MANY other issues. Is that legal even if you sign an agreement when you hire on? They also complained I took a draw on my comdata card more than I earned which is a lie I took the draw to cover for 2 days no layover pay...ripping me off on the "mover mile" almost 100 miles every trip ect. Can they do anything besides sending me a bill for file 19?
